Rainy Trip

So this weekend was an adventure for me! I went around the island on Sunday. I went with my boyfriend and his family and we started off at lanikai juice in kahala. I ordered the extravaganza which is an acai bowl with strawberries, blue berries, and bananas with granola and honey, my opinion is that lanikai isnt that great because of the way they blend their acai isnt really good. After that we made our way to sandy beach park. When we went to sandy's the weather was very windy, the waves were choppy and there were a lot of people , we arrived there around 9:30, after being there for 20 minutes we left and went to makapuu where the weather seemed to be much more nicer, bigger waves, and not a lot of people. Making our way towards Waimanalo we saw a lot of horses, cows, greenery, then we saw china mans hat where we stopped to take pictures. Heading towards north shore the weather was getting much worse , it was really windy and rainy and ugly i was so bummed, then we reached Kahuku where my mood got better because we stopped at the famous giovanni's shrimp truck where the line was like 20 minutes long for their famous scampi shrimp with LOTS of garlic, it was yummy ! After that we made our way to Waimea bay where the weather was just nasty we stopped there for like a minute then left to go home, id say it was a good day but could of been better if the weather was nicer.. next time :p
